Strategies to Access Inclusive Education

This Seminar will assist you in working with your school to access inclusive education for your child. The presentation will provide a brief overview of IDEA and strategies parents can utilize to become effective partners and advocates in promoting inclusive education opportunities for their child. We will also discuss ways to foster independence in your child which will promote self-regulation and behavior that makes inclusion more feasible.
Amy Allison is the Executive Director of the Kansas City Guild with a degree in
B.S. Psychology, B.S. Sociology. Amy is a nationally recognized presenter
and expert in her field. Amy advocates for the special needs community in
many capacities and is an expert on inclusion practices.
