Newborn & New Diagnosis Visits

Did you or someone you know recently find out your child has special needs? We would love to meet with you! Our trained parent volunteers and staff are excited to welcome new families into our community. We understand that this time is overwhelming and challenging; we are here to listen, answer your questions, share resources and introduce you to our community of supporting and loving families.

Educational Seminars

United Angels Foundation frequently holds educational seminars carefully designed to address concerns and needs facing parents of special needs children in our community. Topics may include DSPD, behavior, sleep training, IEPs and public education, advocacy, estate planning, potty training and more. Our classes are selected and revised based on parent requests.

Transition To Adulthood

Our Parent Transition Specialist can help you navigate and apply for services such as SSI, DSPD, Medicaid, Guardianship, Financial Planning, Voc-Rehab, and more! Private consultations are free for UAF members. You may request a consultation at any time; however, we recommend a total of three consultations at ages 14, 17/18 and 21+.

We All Belong

We All Belong is a parent volunteer-led program that supports more meaningful inclusive education, experiences, and opportunities for individuals with special needs in their communities.

Join us as we strive to create a more inclusive educational environment in our state. Help us support existing and create new opportunities for individuals with special needs to work and socialize within their communities.

Follow our Instagram and visit the website to learn how you can support this cause, and to find ideas for how you can advocate in your own community and school.

Applications open in early September each year. The deadline to apply is October 31st.

Our Sub4Santa program is for members of United Angels Foundation. To qualify, families must provide proof of income and have a child with special needs.
